Western Pacific regional implementation plan for the global strategy and action plan on oral health

Overview

During the seventy-sixth session of the WHO Regional Committee in 2025, the Western Pacific Regional Implementation Plan for the Global Strategy and Action Plan on Oral Health (WPR/RC76/6) and its associated resolution (WPR/RC76.R3) were endorsed, outlining five acceleration projects and 2030 regional targets.

The plan prioritizes oral diseases within the noncommunicable disease agenda and advances universal health coverage through a primary health care approach. It operationalizes the Global Strategy and Action Plan on Oral Health and the Bangkok Declaration: No Health Without Oral Health as part of the regional vision, Weaving Health for Families, Communities and Societies in the Western Pacific Region (2025–2029).
