Overview
An international meeting on preventing and controlling plague was held on 7–11 April 2006 in Antananarivo, Madagascar. A total of 70 participants from 24 countries gathered under the auspices of WHO; scientific support was provided by Madagascar’s Institut Pasteur and the Kazakh Scientific Center for Quarantine and Zoonotic Diseases, which is based in Almaty.
