This publication reviews and recommends current strategies for the involvement of men in programmes aimed at improving sexual and reproductive health.

Topics covered include: programming for men in prevention and care of sexually transmitted infections; programming for men in family planning; programming for men in promoting safe motherhood; targeting men for improving the sexual and reproductive health of both partners; and lessons for future programmatic directions.
