Overview

The Special Event of the Pacific Health Ministers on the Healthy Islands Vision brought together health leaders from across the Pacific, with support from the World Health Organization (WHO) on the 25th October 2025. The event focused on the following agenda items: (1) the progress over the past 30 years towards the Healthy Islands Vision; (2) the revitalization of the Pacific Open Learning Health Net (POLHN); (3) updates from Pacific Specialist Healthcare (4) updates on the Philippine-Pacific Health Initiative (5) and the Healthy Islands Vision 2050. This document outlines the outcomes and commitments made by the health leaders who attended the event.
