Overview

The Annual Report documents the first year of action by WHO and its Member States to implement WHO’s Fourteenth General Programme of Work (GPW14) – a strategic global agenda to “promote, provide and protect health”, judged by its impact in countries. It tells three interconnected stories: how countries protected hard-won health gains amid far-reaching shifts in the global health landscape; how WHO and Member States sharpened priorities under GPW14; and how the new WHO South-East Asia Region “Banyan Framework” will guide collective action in the years ahead.
