WHO TobLabNet SOP 1 - Standard operating procedure for intense smoking of cigarettes

Overview

This document, prepared by the members of the WHO Tobacco Laboratory Network (TobLabNet), outlines the protocol for the machine smoking of cigarettes under intense conditions. This protocol will then be used for validating test methods for various chemical emissions in mainstream smoke, which are on the priority list set forth by the Conference of the Parties to the WHO Framework Convention on Tobacco Control.
