15th International Meeting of the World Pharmacopoeias

Overview

The International Meeting of the World Pharmacopoeias (IMWP) is an annual event where world pharmacopoeias, including national, regional and international pharmacopoeias, convene to share their experience and expertise. The goal of the meetings is to find ways of working together to synchronize efforts to improve public health outcomes. The fifteenth IMWP was co-hosted by the Indian Pharmacopoeia Commission (IPC) and the World Health Organization (WHO) in New Delhi, India, from 6-7 February 2025, with a stakeholder event on 5 February 2025. Forty-six participants joined this hybrid meeting, representing 16 pharmacopoeia organizations. During the meeting, world pharmacopoeias shared their experience and information on news and work undertaken since the last meeting in 2023 to support national and global public health. The meeting also reviewed the progress of ongoing joint projects and identified new areas for collaboration.
