Overview
The fifth joint meeting of the Advisory Committee on Safety of Medicinal Products (ACSoMP) and the Global Advisory Committee on Vaccine Safety (GACVS) was held in Geneva as a hybrid meeting from 23 to 26 June 2026.
The four-day meeting covered topics specific to vaccine safety, pharmacovigilance issues common to both vaccines and medicines, and topics specific to medicine safety. A summary of the presentations and recommendations from the medicine specific sessions is provided below, together with some pharmacovigilance sessions of interest for both medicines and vaccines. A summary of the discussions and recommendations related to vaccine safety and some sessions of common interest for pharmacovigilance of both medicines and vaccines are published in the WHO WER.
