Annex 4 of the Guidelines for drinking-water quality, fourth edition incorporating the first and second addenda

Overview

Information in Annex 4 of the Guidelines for drinking-water Quality (GDWQ), along with information in section 8.3 of the GDWQ, is intended to support the selection of appropriate analytical methods for various chemical contaminants. Annex 4 includes a brief description of analytical methods listed in Tables 8.5 and 8.6 of the GDWQ. It also includes summary tables on analytical achievability based on detection limits for chemicals for which guideline values have been established by source category.

The Annex is extracted from the GDWQ, fourth edition incorporating the first and second addendum published in March 2022.
