Bridging data and action: Insights from the WASH Financing Conclave

Ms. Marina Takane, technical officer at the World Health Organization, shares experiences from the WASH Financing Conclave held in Bangkok, Thailand, in March 2024. The conclave was attended by representatives from eight countries across South Asia and Africa, focusing on innovative WASH finance-related initiative. Sessions addressed fiscal decentralization, financial sustainability and the critical role of WASH accounts in national planning and tracking WASH expenditures.
