Overview

WHO Headquarters organized a webinar on infodemic management, following numerous requests from countries. This webinar focused on the operationalization of infodemic management within public health systems at the global, regional, and national levels. The start of infodemic management in 2020 has led to the development and implementation of various frameworks, strategies, tools, and capacity-building measures globally, aimed at understanding narratives that may potentially impact adaptation of healthy behaviors. Implementers of infodemic management shared their best practices, offering other countries the opportunity to learn about how infodemic management can support the prevention, preparedness, response, and recovery efforts in health emergencies.
