FAO/WHO Codex Trust Fund - 2021 Annual Report

Overview

This report covers 2021, the sixth year of operation of the FAO/WHO Codex Trust Fund-2 (CTF2), as well as the first half of 2022. It highlights key achievements and lessons learned and provides a summary of operational and financial aspects of activities.

In 2021, the COVID-19 pandemic continued to delay the implementation of CTF2 projects. However, beneficiary countries started to accelerate activities again, both aided through the use of virtual tools that allowed for remote work and building on the loosening of COVID-19 related public health restrictions in some countries. This trend continued in the first half of 2022.
