Global consultation on implementing vaccination checks at school

Overview

The Global consultation on implementing vaccination checks at school, hosted by WHO in Kuala Lumpur from 26-28 November 2019, brought together global immunization partners, WHO regional focal points, and a selection of countries that have successfully implemented a programme of school vaccination checks, to:

• Share experiences, challenges, and lessons learned,

• Discuss and disseminate findings from a global survey on the existence and implementation of such policies globally, and

• Assess resource needs, evidence gaps, and plans to develop operational guidance to assist national programmes interested in implementing this strategy and/or strengthening existing practices.
