Overview

The Health Resources and Services Availability Monitoring System (HeRAMS) aims to provide decision-makers and health stakeholders at large with vital and up-to-date information on the availability of essential health resources and services, help them identify gaps, and determine priorities for intervention.

HeRAMS has been deployed in Gaza, the occupied Palestinian territory, since February 2024. This snapshot offers a high-level overview of the operational status of governmental hospitals across Gaza, detailing the availability of health services and barriers to their provision, based on data reported up to April 15, 2024. While this HeRAMS deployment is ongoing and data verification and validation continue, the analysis presented here is preliminary and intended solely to inform operations.
