Influenza at the human-animal interface summary and assessment, 15 April 2021

Since the previous update on 29 January 2021, two human infections with avian influenza A(H5N6) viruses, seven human infections with avian influenza A(H5N8) viruses, three human infections with avian influenza A(H5) viruses, 10 human infections with avian influenza A(H9N2) viruses, two human infections with influenza A(H1N1) variant viruses, and one human infection with an influenza A(H3N2) variant virus were reported officially.
