KAP Baseline Study Reports

Overview

This study was conducted in several rural areas in the flood, saline and drought prone areas of Bangladesh (namely, the Rural 1 and 2 groups) to determine the baseline situation with regards to water safety and the effects of climate variability and change. Information was gathered from multiple sources, including literature review, water quality testing, household surveys and observations and sanitary inspections. Further, information is presented on the development of a hazard-pathway matrix was developed for specific technologies, to support the identification of climate-related hazards within the water supply chain.
