Overview

 This resource represents a full revision of the 1994 IPCS Multi-level Course on Safe Use of Pesticides and on Diagnosis and Treatment of Pesticide Poisoning. This resource tool is intended to meet the need for training in the sound management of pesticides and in the diagnosis and treatment of pesticide poisoning.

This revised version includes new information on developments in pest management, changes in the treatment of poisoning and guidance on use of web-based information. The part on the environment has been expanded, and information is included on the International Code of Conduct on the Distribution and Use of Pesticides and on the Basel, Stockholm and Rotterdam conventions. New modules have been prepared on first aid and on diagnosis and treatment of poisoning with additional pesticides
