Overview
This guide is intended to describe rules for drawing structures and to supersede the previous version, entitled Guidelines for the graphic representation of chemical formulae, published in the report of the thirty-fourth meeting of the Expert Committee on Specifications for Pharmaceutical Preparations, WHO Technical Report Series No. 863, Annex 1, 1996, concerning conventions for chemical structure representation of pharmaceutical substances.
