WHO Global Infection Prevention and Control Network meeting, August 31st 2022

Overview

The WHO Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) Technical and Clinical Hub coordinates the Global IPC Network (GIPCN), which brings together national and international IPC organizations and WHO collaborating centers to enhance local, national, and international collaboration in the field of IPC. This includes supporting the efforts of WHO and Member States to strengthen IPC programmes, including surveillance, outbreak preparedness and response. This report summarizes the objectives, discussion, and outcomes of the GIPCN meeting held on 31 August 2022 and proposed next steps.
