WHO Health-Security Interface Technical Advisory Group (HSI-TAG), Report of the annual meeting 2023

Overview

The HSI-TAG held its annual in-person meeting in Geneva on July 6-7, 2023. This meeting was convened to 1) Advance the work of the HSI-TAG by meeting in-person to review the progress of its working groups and facilitate more in-depth and extensive discussions on these initiatives; 2) Meet with WHO Headquarters (HQ) and Regional Offices focal points to discuss global and regional perspectives and priorities, and identify unmet Member States’ needs related to preparing for and responding to deliberate threats; 3) Discuss and reach consensus on the strategy for the second half of 2023 and priority actions for the HSI-TAG; and 4) Review, discuss and provide advice on HSI strategies, priority projects and deliverables for the next biennium (2024–25).
