Interregional Workshops

WHO supports Member States in building capacity and integrating traditional medicine into national health systems. Over the years, WHO, has hosted the Interregional Workshops to strengthen the capacity of government officials and practitioners.

This workshop focuses on enhancing the quality, safety, and effectiveness of traditional, complementary and integrative medicine practices, practitioners and products, contributing to the broader goal of WHO Traditional Medicine Strategy, the Fourteenth General Programme of Work, and Universal Health Coverage. The interregional workshop represents a cornerstone of WHO’s efforts to assist Member States in incorporating traditional medicine safely and effectively into their healthcare systems.
