This report details country case studies examining human resources servicing the health system in Bhutan, India, Indonesia, Myanmar, Sri Lanka, and Thailand. The case studies provide a discussion on policy interventions to improve workforce retention of health workers in rural and remote regions, including educational interventions, regulatory interventions, financial incentives, and support systems.
