This document aims to provide considerations for manufacturers in developing or adapting their products to ensure accessibility for all users. The ultimate goal of this document for rapid diagnostic tests would be to achieve universal design – “the design and composition of an environment [or product] so that it can be accessed, understood, and used to the greatest extent possible by all people regardless of their age, ability or disability”.
