Building capacity on legal matters

WHO works to support it member states to strengthen their national capacities to make and implement health laws. Training and support can be provided in conjunction with national legal advisory projects or as part of more specialized training on specific topics on request.

In addition, WHO offers lawyers from member countries opportunities to participate in legal research on important health laws topics. WHO Legal officers also give lectures and contribute papers to training sessions organized by different UN agencies and WHO partners.
