Kathmandu, Bagmati Province - WHO, Country Office for Nepal, handed over 75 units of entomological kits, 22 compound microscopes, 14 stereoscopes, 55 CDC light traps, and 25 BG Sentinel traps to the Epidemiology and Disease Control Division, Ministry of Health and Population. The equipment will support the Government of Nepal's strategic initiative to strengthen vector surveillance and control by enhancing the capabilities of entomology laboratories across all provinces in Nepal. WHO will continue to support the MoHP to achieve Nepal's goal of eliminating vector-borne diseases.
