This six-month progress report provides stakeholders with an overview of WHO’s work in Sri Lanka from January to August 2026, undertaken in support of the Ministry of Health and in collaboration with national counterparts and partners.

It brings together key areas of progress across WHO’s work, using stories, figures, field photographs and examples of partnership in action to illustrate how technical support and collaboration are contributing to national health priorities.

The report also reflects on emerging opportunities and priorities that will inform WHO’s continued support to advance health and well-being across Sri Lanka in the months ahead.
