Kathmandu, Bagmati Province – WHO, Country Office for Nepal, handed over preventive maintenance kits for Pressure Swing Adsorption (PSA) Oxygen Plant, valued at over USD $320,000 and fit for a three-year period, to the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP). These spare parts, supported by Unitaid, will be used to maintain the functionality of five oxygen plants at Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital, Manmohan Cardiovascular and Thoracic Center, and Paropakar Maternity and Women's Hospital. Following the handover, MoHP and WHO also visited the sites of all the PSA oxygen plants for a brief assessment.
