23-24 July | Lalitpur, Bagmati Province - The National Health Training Center (NHTC), under the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP), and WHO, Country Office for Nepal, held a workshop to finalize the technical content and teaching/learning methodologies of the Advanced Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) Learning Resources Package (LRP) with inputs from 30 IPC public health experts and healthcare workers. The package is going to be used to train healthcare workers to establish good IPC practices and conduct essential monitoring activities in their respective health facilities. The LRP will be first rolled out in Kathmandu where further feedback will be sought and incorporated, prior to endorsement. WHO will support the NHTC to further roll out the LRP at national and subnational levels.
