To mark the 10th anniversary of the Make Listening Safe initiative, WHO is preparing a compilation of related efforts, activities and innovations that have contributed to this initiative and safer listening environments over the last ten years.
We welcome abstracts that include (but are not limited to):
- Implementation of safe listening standards or policies
- Educational or awareness-raising campaigns, aligned with WHO’s messages
- Research, evaluation, or monitoring of interventions for safe listening
- Innovations in technology or sound design that reduce the risk of hearing loss, in line with WHO’s recommendations for safe listening
- Lessons learned from community, school, or youth engagement initiatives for promotion of safe listening
Selected abstracts may be featured during plenary or breakout sessions of the consultation and/or included in materials shared with participants.
