Junior Public Health Professional (JPP) Programme
The Junior Public Health Professional (JPP) Programme in WHO South-East Asia Region (SEAR) is being implemented from 2011 with an overall objective to provide an opportunity to young public health professionals from Member States to gain valuable hands-on learning experience and leadership skills in management of specific health-related programs and projects and exposing them to ways and means used by WHO, inter-governmental organizations and other international health development partners to provide necessary support to countries.
The overall objective of the Programme is to allow young public health personnel to gain valuable hands-on, learning experience and leadership skills in the management of specific health-related programmes and projects. While the JPP Programme provides exposure to such management of public health programmes and projects, young professionals at the same time get an opportunity to render valuable service to the Organization
