Introduction

The Healthier Populations webinar series are proposed to identify key areas/strategies that need to be adopted given the change COVID-19 has brought in health systems to address the pandemic and maintaining essential health services.
  

Objectives 

  • To support SEA Member States in promoting health and maintaining essential health services during the time of COVID-19 and beyond, including by identifying most critical disruptions/bottlenecks of programme delivery in created by the COVID-19 pandemic
  • To build up regional collective capacity through knowledge & experience sharing mechanisms

    Discussion points:

    • Implementation and adaptation of infection control and prevention in the workplace and implications of physical and social distancing
    • Experience and case studies from the region
    • Recommendations and available WHO guidance/resources for combatting COVID-19 in the workplace
