Antimicrobial Consumption (AMC) is a critical component of national stewardship efforts to address AMR. To optimize use of antimicrobial agents, health facilities need to develop a sustainable system which monitors their consumption and use and disseminate the information for policy decision.
This webinar discussed the WHO strategy on surveillance of antimicrobial consumption and demonstrate how data can be used for action. This was to deepen the understanding of methodologies and tools available for conducting consumption and use studies in health facilities.
