We are delighted to kick-off the year-long WHO-SEARO Webinar Series on Responsible AI in Healthcare in collaboration with Koita Centre for Digital Health, Ashoka University.
The inaugural session will establish a common language around the core principles of fairness, accountability and transparency that underpin Responsible AI and showcase how these principles translate into real-world health-system priorities across South-East Asia.
Objectives
- Introduce the foundational principles of Responsible AI and their relevance for health systems.
- Highlight regional perspectives through country spotlights and multi-country panel discussion.
- Launch the monthly webinar series and outline ways participants can stay engaged throughout 2025-26.
Expected Outcomes
By the end of the session, participants will be able to:
- Articulate the core pillars of Responsible AI (fairness, accountability, transparency).
- Describe the region-specific challenges that Responsible AI can address.
- Identify opportunities to contribute to subsequent webinars or working groups.
