World Health Day 2020 photo competition – ‘We Thank You’

Nurses and midwives play a vital role in providing health services as the first and sometimes only point of care to people of all ages. Nurses and midwives, are the cornerstone of a strong and resilient health system and critical for achieving Universal Health Coverage – health for all, everyone, everywhere.

To acknowledge the work and service of nurses and midwives, WHO SEARO organized a photo competition titled “WE THANK YOU”. Participation were received widely from anyone, any age, living in WHO South-East Asia Region, capturing a nurse in action or a midwife with the community s/he serves.

Here are 16 shortlisted photos by selection committee in WHO SEARO. Final Top 3 photos to be announced on 7 April 2020.
