The Five-Year Regional Strategic Plan to Strengthen Public Health Preparedness and Response ( 2019-2023), along with the Risk Communication Strategy for Public Health Emergencies in South-East Asia ( 2019-2023), was launched at 72nd Regional Committee Meeting of SEAR. The Strategic Plan is an overall guidance tool for the Member States to develop National Action Plans and strengthen core capacities under the International Health Regulation (2005).
