Achieving the hepatitis B control goal – successful journeys in Maldives and Sri Lanka: The path towards elimination

Following years of having achieved very high coverage with hepatitis B immunization, Maldives and Sri Lanka have been verified by an independent expert panel as having achieved the hepatitis B control goal. This marks a major public health achievement and paves the way towards hepatitis B elimination in these countries.
