Bibliography of Scientific Publications on Antimicrobial Resistance from South-East Asia Region (‎1990-2010)‎

Overview

Antimicrobial resistance (AMR) is now the most important challenge being faced by humanity in its fight against infectious diseases. The emergence and spread of resistance in several microorganisms have rendered the management of many infectious diseases difficult. The scientific evidence for emergence, occurrence, and persistence of antimicrobial resistance is irrefutable. To consolidate the information from Member States of the WHO South-East Asia Region, this bibliography of technical publications in English has been compiled to help Member States in understanding trends and mapping of expertise available in this important area.
