Compendium of research projects at the interface of tuberculosis and COVID-19

WHO Global TB Programme is collating information on ongoing research projects at the interface of TB and COVID-19*, with a view to support collaboration among researchers, as well as with policy makers.

In this context, WHO/GTB envisions developing a living compendium (listing) that will be updated periodically to make ongoing projects visible on its website.

*For the purpose of this document, "TB research at the interface of TB and COVID-19"  is defined as all scientific studies that are conducted as part of basic, translational, clinical, operational and epidemiological research that contribute to better understanding of TB disease in the context of COVID-19 pandemic, as well as those that lead to policy and practice improvements in the co-management of TB and COVID-19

Guiding questions

  • Below is a series of questions that we hope will capture basic information about the research project
  • Once information is received, and with your consent, the compendium will be made available for use by the TB community, through WHO's website.

Timeline

  • This is a "living compendium" so please complete it anytime you initiate a new project
  • The compendium is envisioned to be launched by 5 June 2020 on WHO's website. The online compendium will be updated regularly to include entries that come-in after 5 June as well.
