Thailand, a champion country in the Global Compact for Migration (GCM), has been at the forefront of addressing the health needs and rights of migrants. With its commitment to integrating migrants' health into national policies, Thailand has demonstrated leadership by endorsing the Rabat Declaration (2023). These initiatives are pivotal in advancing Universal Health Coverage (UHC) for migrants, ensuring equitable access to essential health services.

Through the WHO-RTG Country Cooperation Strategy (CCS) 2022-2026, migrant health has been identified as a priority program area by health partners and the WHO Country Office for Thailand (WCO Thailand), highlighting its significance in achieving health equity and sustainable development. This strategic framework underscores collaboration between the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Royal Thai Government (RTG) for advancing health priorities.
