Adolescent health and well-being data tool
Overview
This tool enables countries to assess the state of adolescent health and well-being for subsequent targeted action. It is built around two components:
- Individual health and well-being: to map, compile and visualize available data on adolescent health and well-being. This will help prioritize areas with greatest health needs and identify existing data gaps.
- Government actions: to document policies, laws and ongoing or planned government actions that support adolescent health and well-being.
This tool is part of the Guidance for countries to assess adolescent health and well-being. It builds on the indicators recommended by the Global Action for Measurement of Adolescent health (GAMA) and supports the approach of the Global Accelerated Action for the Health of Adolescents (AA-HA!).
