• Everyone has the right to have opinions and express them
• People also have the right to obtain and share information and ideas through any media
• Everyone has the right to information and education on health
• Government should give education and information on health to all, including on sexual and reproductive health and rights for all
• Information and education on health should be relevant for people at any age
• People need to have easy access to health information as it helps them make decisions about their health and lives
• Everyone should be able to take part in decisions about their health
• People should also be able to take part in decisions related to information, such as how information is developed and used
• Some groups are not included in surveys on the population, such as people from minority ethnic groups or people who have a disability
• When people are not included they may miss out on essential health and social services or on information about health
