In line with World Health Day 2026 (“Together for Science”), and following the roundtable convened on 13 May 2026, WHO Mongolia and the Ministry of Health are establishing the Mongolia Partnership for Science and Research.
The Partnership aims to strengthen coordination between research, policy and implementation, promote health systems and public health research, and enhance the use of evidence to inform decision-making in support of national health priorities.
This Expression of Interest (EOI) is intended to identify institutions and individuals interested in participating in the Partnership and contributing to its activities, in line with the endorsed Terms of Reference (TORs).
Submission of an EOI does not constitute a formal or binding commitment, nor does it create any financial, contractual or institutional obligations. Participation in the Partnership is voluntary and based on mutual interest, relevance, and capacity.
Criteria for participation in the Partnership
- Credible track in health research with at least 5 years leadership and engagement in health research generation and publication (for institutions) and at least 5 published research for individuals
- Not for profit organizations, academic institutions, professional bodies, research institutions and individuals
Conditions
Prospective participants should have no affiliation or funding from the tobacco/vaping and arms industry. Declaration of conflict of interest will be required and WHO’s policies on the Framework of Engagement on Non-State Actors (FENSA) will apply.
