"In the past, I used to be scared of surgeries.

Back in 1998, my oldest brother had pain in his legs, so he was hospitalized in the general provincial hospital for three days. He died because of sepsis. He was only 41 years old.

My other brother suffered from a problem with his oesophagus. He had surgery in Ulgii and was later transferred to the city to receive his second surgery. But he didn’t survive.

My third brother had a surgery here in the province and two more in the city. He died, too.

It was hard. Losing my brothers.

Back in the 90s, there were a lot of cases like this. We had shortages of so many supplies.

Everything is much better now. My attitude has completely changed. The doctors are masters at their work, they are very skilled.

I recently had gallbladder surgery. They removed 45 stones from my gallbladder. I was in hospital and received treatment for nine days. I didn’t pay anything because I’m a pensioner. Everything was covered by the government.

I was very impressed by the skills of the doctors. I told them, “You saved me, I’m so thankful.” I kissed them all.

Thanks to the doctors I’m healthy, I’m home with my children, I’m so happy."
