Report of the 11th Meeting of the WHO Strategic and Technical Advisory Group of Experts for Maternal, Newborn, Child and Adolescent Health and Nutrition, 10–12 June 2025

Overview

This is the report from the 11th meeting (June 10- 12 2025) of the strategic and technical advisory group of experts (STAGE) for maternal newborn child and adolescent health and nutrition.

Report provides a summary of the proceedings, recommendations and guidance provided by STAGE. Technical topics included sessions on the impact of reduced development assistance in health on MNCAHN outcomes; MNCAHN in humanitarian settings; the impact of preventive interventions on adolescents; the post-2030 agenda for MNCAHN; and the workforce required for MNCAH well-being across the life course.

The report also includes a detailed feedback on the progress made towards the various STAGE recommendations from May and November 2024 STAGE meetings.

In addition, a partners forum enabled discussion and inputs from various partners present in-person and online, a summary of that is also provided.
