Considerations to relax border restrictions in the Western Pacific Region

Overview

As COVID-19 case numbers are falling in the Western Pacific Region, countries and areas are considering to relaxing restrictions on people's movement, including at international borders. This guidance sets out key considerations for policy makers (‎at national and subnational level)‎ to evaluate the possibility of re-opening borders as well as lifting travel restrictions, while minimizing the risk of COVID-19 importation and transmission.
