Entry requirements
Participants are required to have a passport valid for at least six months from the date of entry to the Philippines, and an entry visa, if required. Nationals of some countries and areas may enter the Philippines and stay up to 30 days without a
visa.

Customs
Visitors may enter the Philippines with a laptop and other IT equipment for personal use. Participants are advised to ensure that all electronic gadgets or battery powered devices (mobile telephones, tablets, e-books, laptops, etc.) are fully charged
and in working order for inspection. This is in compliance with the security regulation of Manila International Airport Authority.
Health Regulations
Yellow fever vaccination is required for visitors arriving from infected areas, except children under one year of age. Visitors from infected areas may be subject to isolation if necessary.
Airport Transfers
WHO will provide transport for all the participants who have provided their confirmed flight details by completing the online 'confirmation of participation' form, from airport to hotel and from hotel to the conference venue. Specific help-desks have
been set up on the larger terminals (1 and 3). On small terminals (2 and 4), a representative with proper signage will be available to assist the participant. Please proceed to WHO help desk (a prominent Forum Banner will be displayed there) or look
for a WHO representative with appropriate signage at arrival gates after customs clearance.
Arrival
Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) is the main international gateway to the Philippines. The airport is located between Pasay City and Parañaque City, about 10 kilometres south of Manila.
NAIA has four terminals.
Terminal 1: Majority of the international airlines arrive at Terminal 1 (Air
Macau, Asiana Airlines, China Airlines, China Southern Airlines, China
Eastern Airlines, United Airlines , Etihad Airways, EVA Air, Gulf Air,
Hawaian Airlines, Japan Airlines, Jetstar Asia Airways, Jeju Air,
Korean Air, Kuwait Airways, Malaysian Airlines, Qantas, Qatar Airways,
Saudi Arabian Airlines, Thai Airways International).
A special WHO assistance desk for the Forum will be set-up at the International Organization Desk located near Gate 1 of the Arrival Lobby after the Customs Area just before the exit of the airport building to provide assistance. On arrival, all participants
should approach the WHO assistance desk, and a WHO representative will assist you with WHO provided transport to your hotel.
Terminal 2:Only Philippines Airlines (PAL) and Vietnam Airlines (code-share with PAL) flights arrive at this terminal. On arrival, participants should approach the Public Information Counter located at the Arrival Lobby after
the Immigration and Customs counters. A WHO representative will be there to assist you with WHO transport to your hotel.
Terminal 3: This terminal caters to some domestic (Air Philippines, Cebu Pacific (domestic and international), PAL Express) and international flights (All Nippon Airways (ANA), Cathay Pacific, Delta Airlines, Emirates, KLM Royal Dutch
Airlines, Singapore Airlines).
An International Organization Assistance Desk is located at the Arrival Lobby, left side beside the Airport Information Counter, after Customs Area. On arrival, participants should approach the desk, and a WHO representative will assist in arranging
the WHO-provided transport to your hotel.
Terminal 4: This terminal caters to low cost airlines from Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia) and Seoul (Republic of Korea) and Philippines (Zest Airways).
A WHO representative will be at the Arrival Exit of the airport terminal to assist participants in arranging the WHO provided transport to your hotel.
Transport from airport to hotel
WHO Transport: WHO will arrange transport for all the participants who have provided their confirmed flight details by completing the online 'confirmation of participation' form. Please look for WHO help desk (a prominent Forum Banner
will be displayed there) or a WHO representative with appropriate signage at arrival gates after customs clearance.
Yellow Taxi: Participants who did not provide their confirmed flight details to WHO may take a yellow airport metered taxi available in front of the main arrival area. The yellow taxis are accredited by Department of Tourism and the recommended
transport from airport to the hotel. Participants may pre-book these taxis at one of the taxi desks before leaving the airport. The fare is 70 pesos (flag-down rate for the first 500 metres) plus four pesos for every 300 metres—roughly 500 pesos
to any of the recommended hotels.
Car Rentals: Alamo, Avis, Europcar, National and a number of local hire companies operate at Manila Ninoy Aquino International Airports. Operators have desks in the arrival areas of terminals 1, 2, 3 and 4. Fixed rates will be charged
depending on the destination.
Departure
WHO will provide transport to all the participants who have provided their confirmed flight details from hotel to airport. A flyer will be given to all the participants informing them of their pick-up time from the hotel based on the departure time of
their flight. Participants are advised to arrive at the airport at least two to three hours before the scheduled time of departure to allow sufficient time for passport control and security procedures. The airport is about 10 km from the forum venue
and may take from 30 minutes to one hour depending upon the traffic from the recommended hotels. Traffic can be very congested at some times of the day, so please ensure sufficient time for travel to arrive at the airport on time.
Departure Terminals Fee: All passengers embarking for international travel must pay a terminal and security fee (airport tax) of 550 pesos (approximately USD 13) at the airport. Collection counters for this fee are located before passport
control (Immigration Counters). Passengers can pay the airport terminal fees by cash (in USD or Philippine Pesos) or credit card.
