This table summarizes the cumulative number of reported probable cases of SARS for the period 16 November 2002 to 7 August 2003. Review of cases is still ongoing in some countries/areas. WHO continues to consolidate and update global surveillance data for the outbreak period and will publish these findings on this site. Situation updates will be issued should any change in the present SARS situation occur.
