A ‘Training of Trainers’ workshop on Health Inter Network Access to Research Initiative, also known as HINARI was organized by WHO in Dhaka. The three-day workshop was organized in collaboration with the Bangladesh Medical Research Council (BMRC) and attended by more than 20 medical librarians.

The provision of high-quality library services and resources in medical schools and institutions is a key component to support the work of researchers, doctors and students in different health areas. The use of different online software for the purpose of literature review in research often results in producing huge volume of information which could be both time consuming and irrelevant. HINARI programme is a unique software and database which helps to search the appropriate information/literatures from various scientific journals, e-books and relevant documents.
