Laboratory Management Series (Part Two, Process Management)

This webinar was the second in our series of three webinars discussing concepts, tools and processes related to Laboratory Management. In this webinar, we discussed laboratory process management and how to identify opportunities for improving quality, operational performance and customer satisfaction for your laboratory. We explored process mapping and flow charts as well as tools that can be used to analyze laboratory errors and take corrective action. We heard examples of personal experiences applying these techniques in the laboratory to improve specific processes.

To compliment the information provided in the webinar series, an activity workbook is provided to practice applying the knowledge covered.

Launched in May 2020, this knowledge sharing platform aims to enhance WHO guidance dissemination and best practice sharing among public health laboratories globally. This WHO platform contributes to the ACT-Accelerator Diagnostics pillar activities by enabling country preparedness. It is funded by the  European Commission’s CBRN Centres of Excellence Initiative.
