Overview
Antigua and Barbuda, Belgium, Ghana, Georgia, Japan, and Thailand, as co-chairs of the Group of Friends of UHC, along with the WHO and UN Foundation, co-hosted an interactive dialogue under Chatham House rules to discuss investment strategies for non-communicable diseases (NCDs) and mental health. This discussion, part of preparations for the Fourth High-Level Meeting on NCDs and mental health in September 2025, built upon the International Dialogue on Sustainable Financing held in June 2024 and aligned with the 2024 UHC Day theme of strengthening financial protection. The dialogue provided Member States and global health partners a platform to examine financing needs, priorities, and gaps, while developing actionable strategies to improve service access and financial protection for affected populations.
